Evil Dead: The Game Pulled from Storefronts, But Servers Stay Online

*Sabre Interactive has confirmed that *Evil Dead: The Game** is being removed from digital storefronts, including Epic Games, PlayStation, and Steam. However, players who already own the game can breathe a sigh of relief—servers will remain online for continued access.*

Launched in 2022, *Evil Dead: The Game* quickly became a fan favorite among asymmetric horror titles, featuring co-op and PvP combat and characters from Sam Raimi’s iconic franchise. Its gritty, Southern Gothic atmosphere placed it alongside genre classics like *The Texas Chain Saw Massacre* and *Telltale’s The Walking Dead.*

While the Xbox version of the game remains available for now, Saber did not confirm how long it will stay listed. The news follows a trend of game delistings in 2025, including titles like *Outer Terror* and *Daggerhood.*

Fans expressed disappointment across social media, fearing a full shutdown. Though the game won’t be available for new purchases, existing players can continue enjoying it online.

Meanwhile, the *Evil Dead* universe lives on through other games like *Dead by Daylight* and the retro platformer *RetroRealms: Ash vs Evil Dead*. On the film side, 2023’s *Evil Dead Rise* was a hit, with *Evil Dead Burn* expected in 2026. Bruce Campbell has also hinted at the conditions under which he’d return as Ash Williams, keeping hope alive for longtime fans.
