World War Z: Aftermath Gets New Hotfix Focused on Bug Fixes

Saber Interactive has released a new hotfix for *World War Z: Aftermath*, targeting several bugs and improving overall gameplay stability, with a strong focus on Extinction Mode.

Key fixes include resolving a bug that prevented players from receiving rewards during episode rotations, correcting misleading DLC pop-up messages, and allowing players without Extinction Mode to accept invites properly. A broken confirmation button in the “mode unavailable” pop-up has also been fixed, improving co-op functionality.

Beyond Extinction Mode, the update addresses various general issues. Players can now properly earn the “Memento Mori” frame, and bugs affecting weapon customisation, perks, and mutator functionality have been resolved. Navigation issues in the collection menu and a mutator text error in English and Russian were also corrected.

A small quality-of-life improvement was made to the Community Challenge goal counter, adding visual number separation for better readability.

While this update doesn’t add new content, it reinforces Saber Interactive’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a polished and enjoyable co-op experience.
