Schedule 1 Developer Teases New Map Expansions
Popular indie game *Schedule 1* may be getting new map locations soon, according to developer Tyler during his recent Twitch stream. The game, which launched in early access in March 2025, has quickly gained a loyal fanbase and “overwhelmingly positive” reviews on Steam for its unique take on drug manufacturing and distribution.
Tyler, the game’s solo developer, revealed plans to expand the map with a “swampy, slummy area” and luxury houses on a mountain cliff. He also teased an island off the coast that could be explored in future updates. While no release dates were given, fans are already buzzing with theories about new gameplay possibilities, including gated communities and increased police presence.
The Twitch clip quickly made the rounds on Reddit, where players shared excitement and suggested features like a mini-map to help navigate the growing world. Tyler is known for listening to community feedback—previously adding employee lockers based on player requests.
Despite being a one-person project, *Schedule 1* has outperformed major titles like *Marvel Rivals* and *Monster Hunter Wilds* in concurrent players. Tyler also addressed concerns about fake mobile and PlayStation versions of the game, warning fans he isn’t involved with those copies. He confirmed a console port is planned once the game reaches a more complete stage.
Fans can expect more updates and quality-of-life improvements as *Schedule 1* continues to evolve.
