Pokémon TCG Pocket Celebrates Half-Year Anniversary With Special Rewards
To celebrate its six-month anniversary, *Pokémon TCG Pocket* is launching a special in-game event packed with exclusive rewards. The mobile card game, released in October 2024, has quickly become a fan favorite thanks to its simplified rules and collectible card mechanics.
Starting Tuesday, April 29 at 11 PM PDT, players can take part in solo battle events and missions to earn limited-time rewards. The event runs until Monday, May 12 at 10:59 AM PDT for solo battles, while missions will be available until Wednesday, May 28 at 10:59 AM PDT.
**Anniversary rewards include:**
– **Rayquaza EX (Full Art)** – Main reward from Promo Pack A Series Vol. 7
– **Shaymin Coin** – Earned by completing special missions
– **Anniversary Playmat** – Features Charmander, Piplup, Rockruff, and more
The solo battle mode lets players face off against AI opponents for a chance to win promotional card packs. These cards often include alternate art or unique attributes, along with a Poké Ball stamp for added collectability.
In addition to the anniversary content, DeNA also confirmed that the next expansion, *Celestial Guardians*, is coming soon. It will include over 200 new cards, featuring ex versions of Solgaleo and Lunala, as well as the game’s first immersive Support card.
