GameStop has announced trade-in values for Nintendo Switch models ahead of *Switch 2* pre-orders, which open on April 24. Customers can earn up to $175 in store credit toward the new console by trading in their current Switch systems.
Here are the trade-in values GameStop is offering when applied toward a *Switch 2* pre-order:
– **Switch OLED**: Up to $175
– **Switch V1/V2**: Up to $125
– **Switch Lite**: Up to $100
These values are higher than the retailer’s standard trade-in offers, which go up to $121 for the OLED and $99 for the standard Switch. The promotion will run from April 24 to April 30.
To get the full value, the system must be in good working condition with all required components. GameStop notes that defective items may still be eligible for partial credit. Pro members will receive an extra 10% in trade-in value, adding even more savings.
GameStop has also confirmed that the *Switch 2* will cost $449.99, with a *Mario Kart World* bundle available for $499.99. Pre-orders will be available in-store and online starting April 24.
