EA Sends Out New Battlefield Labs Invites for Next Battlefield Game
EA has reportedly sent out a new wave of invites for *Battlefield Labs*, giving more players the chance to test early features of the upcoming Battlefield title, often referred to as *Battlefield 6*.
According to Insider Gaming, players began receiving invites on April 17. EA has not confirmed how many invites were sent, but sign-ups remain open on the Battlefield Labs website. The program allows select players to test gameplay features under NDA and provide feedback during development.
The next Battlefield game is being developed by the largest team in franchise history, including DICE, Criterion, EA Motive, and Ripple Effect. The game is expected to launch within EA’s 2026 fiscal year, which runs from April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026.
Originally launched in February 2025 for players in Europe and North America, *Battlefield Labs* was limited to a few thousand users. EA plans to expand the program globally over time, aiming to include “tens of thousands” of players.
Confirmed features in development include unique weapon recoil patterns, revamped movement animations, improved gunplay, new HUD indicators, and 60Hz-optimized servers. Leaks also suggest the return of 3D spotting and a potential battle royale mode.
Players interested in joining the program can still register on the official Battlefield Labs website.
