Salamence the Unrivaled Headlines Easter Seven-Star Tera Raid in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have announced a new Seven-Star Tera Raid event featuring Salamence the Unrivaled, set to launch over Easter weekend. This powerful Dragon/Flying-type Pokémon will challenge trainers starting **Thursday, April 17, at 8:00 PM ET**, with the event running until **Sunday, April 20, at 7:59 PM ET**. A second round will be available from **April 24 to 27**.
Salamence will have **Flying as its Tera-type** and will grant the **Mightiest Mark** upon defeat. Known for its strong offensive presence and moves like **Dual Wingbeat**, **Earthquake**, and **Dragon Claw**, Salamence brings a tough challenge to the battlefield.
Trainers should prepare **Electric**, **Rock**, or **Ice-type** Pokémon to exploit its Flying-type weakness. Top counters include **Miraidon**, **Zapdos**, and **Eelektross**.
Salamence can come with either **Intimidate** (lowering opponents’ Attack) or its **Hidden Ability, Moxie**, which boosts its own Attack after each KO—making it a dangerous foe in prolonged battles.
This event marks the return of high-level raids after the recent Tyranitar event, giving trainers another chance to test their strength and strategy.
