Marvel Rivals Reveals New ‘King of Spartax’ Skin for Star-Lord Ahead of Season 2
*Marvel Rivals* has unveiled gameplay footage showcasing the highly anticipated “King of Spartax” costume for Star-Lord, which will be available with the launch of Season 2: Hellfire Gala on April 11. The regal black and gold outfit features a blue sash, golden buttons, and a pin of the Guardians’ iconic crest, adding a fresh look for the popular Duelist.
In addition to Star-Lord’s new skin, *Marvel Rivals* will introduce Emma Frost’s X-Revolution skin, also releasing on April 11. This black and gold costume includes a long hairstyle with a large swoop in the front and a diamond ring in the shape of an “X.”
Season 2 will also offer players the chance to earn the free Chaos Gown costume for Scarlet Witch by playing nine matches. Additionally, a nameplate featuring Scarlet Witch will be given to participants. Leakers suggest that Namor may receive a new Will of Galacta skin as part of upcoming Twitch Drops linked to the season.
Looking ahead, *Marvel Rivals* will implement a new season schedule starting with Season 3, where each season will last two months instead of six weeks. This change aims to keep players engaged with more frequent hero and content updates.
