Final Fantasy 14’s Crystal Candy Makes a Return
Final Fantasy 14 fans have a second chance to get their hands on the popular crystal candy, originally released in 2021. The candy, inspired by the game’s iconic crystal shards, clusters, and elements, is available for pre-order through Isetan until April 25. The limited-edition treat, created by Japanese confectioner Harapeko, is priced at 3,201 yen (approximately $21.67) and will ship in August 2025.
The candy is based on kohakutou, a traditional Japanese sweet made from sugar, water, and agar agar, offering a chewy and crunchy texture. It comes in a Final Fantasy 14-branded box, featuring an image of an elemental wheel. Fans should act quickly—this collectible sold out in just one day during its previous release.
Along with the candy return, Final Fantasy 14 continues to delight fans with new content. The recent 7.2 patch introduced fresh updates and job adjustments, and players are eagerly anticipating upcoming events like the Occult Crescent and Cosmic Exploration. The game’s merchandise line is also expanding, with new items such as Dawntrail accessories and a Magic: The Gathering collaboration on the horizon.
