Another Crab’s Treasure Celebrates First Anniversary with Major Update
*Another Crab’s Treasure* is celebrating its first anniversary with the release of the free “Year of the Crab” update on April 21. This highly anticipated update brings the much-requested New Game Plus mode, which introduces new boss moves, items, and remixed enemy encounters, offering a fresh challenge for players. New Game Plus will be available on Xbox, PS5, and PC, with the Switch version coming soon after.
In addition to New Game Plus, the update includes a variety of new content such as a Boss Rush mode, new costumes for Kril (including caveman and wizard outfits), a new boss, Combat Memories to refight bosses, a Museum Bestiary, and new trophies and achievements.
To mark the occasion, Aggro Crab also announced that *Another Crab’s Treasure* will receive physical editions for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch in 2025, featuring the base game and its DLC. More details on the physical release will be shared soon.
The game’s unique take on the soulslike genre has earned it over 500,000 copies sold, and with the new update and physical release, Aggro Crab looks to continue its success.
