Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 1 Causing Crashes and Connection Issues
Capcom has acknowledged several issues with *Monster Hunter Wilds* after the release of Title Update 1. Players have reported crashes, particularly when speaking to Nata and selecting Sekka to trade items at the village intermediary. A temporary workaround has been suggested: waiting for a few minutes or resting at the BBQ Menu screen.
The 6GB update (or 16GB with high-resolution textures) introduced new content, including new weapons, armor, and challenging monsters like Mizutsune and Zoh Shia. The update also brought balance changes to weapons, such as the Bow, and improved PC video memory usage. However, players are also experiencing connection issues, though Capcom has addressed earlier connection problems.
Capcom confirmed that rankings for Arena and Challenge Quests may have been affected by players exploiting known bugs. They assured players that fraudulent times would not be included in final rankings, and cheaters could face suspensions. The company also promised to address all known issues in a future update, though a release date has not been provided.
To celebrate 10 million units sold, *Monster Hunter Wilds* players can claim a free item pack until April 13, including Mega Potions, Lifepowders, and more.
Despite these ongoing issues, Capcom’s popular title continues to receive support, with more content in the works.
