The Sims 4 Drops Surprise Free Update for April 2025
The Sims 4 has just rolled out a surprise update for April 2025, offering players a variety of new, free content. This update adds 12 new items to the base game, including clothing, tattoos, face paint, wall decorations, and bedding, with a Pride theme.
New additions include a checkered button-up shirt, jean shorts, Pride-themed knee socks, Converse shoes, and several decorative items like wall art and bedspreads. Players can simply start the game to download the update and access these new items.
This update is part of The Sims 4’s ongoing commitment to supporting the game, especially as the franchise celebrates its 25th anniversary. EA has also teased more content, with three new kits—Restoration Workshop, Golden Years, and Kitchen Clutter—set to release in May.
With competition heating up from newcomer InZOI, which has entered Early Access and plans to release frequent updates, The Sims 4 continues to deliver fresh content to stay ahead. EA has expressed excitement for InZOI but remains focused on keeping The Sims 4 the top choice in the life simulation genre.
