New Tamagotchi Game, Tamagotchi Plaza, Coming to Nintendo Switch
Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced the release of *Tamagotchi Plaza*, a new shop simulation game set to launch on Nintendo Switch on June 27, 2025. The game is a return to the *Tamagotchi Connection: Corner Shop* series, which last saw a release in 2008.
In *Tamagotchi Plaza*, players take on the role of shopkeepers in Tamahiko Town, preparing for the Tamagotchi Fest. The game features 12 unique shops, such as a dental clinic and eyewear store, each with relaxing mini-games.
Players must satisfy customers, upgrade their stores, and interact with over 100 Tamagotchi characters, including classics like Mametchi, Kuchipatchi, and Memetchi, along with a new exclusive Tamagotchi.
The game will also offer two-player co-op mini-games and a linking function with Tamagotchi Uni toys for exclusive in-game content. Fans can expect more updates ahead of the release. *Tamagotchi Plaza* will be available for the Nintendo Switch on June 27, 2025.
