The First Berserker: Khazan* Warns of Bug Affecting Stat Resets and Offers Workaround
Neople, the developer of *The First Berserker: Khazan*, has issued a warning about a frustrating bug that may impact players using the Primeval Regression Orb, a key item that resets player stats and levels. The issue affects players who use the orb while equipped with the pre-order Hero’s Weapon and Armor set, causing them to lose stat points or see incorrect stat values.
The bug, detailed in a Steam update, results from the flat 5-point stat bonus provided by the pre-order set. When using the Primeval Regression Orb multiple times with the bonus active, the game miscalculates the player’s stats, sometimes reducing them below the minimum level. This also interferes with upgrading stats using the Lacrima resource.
Neople has recommended a temporary workaround: players should avoid using the orb in quick succession, complete missions, change areas, or restart the game between uses to ensure correct stat recalculations.
*The First Berserker: Khazan* officially launches on March 27, 2025, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. Neople has assured fans that they are working on a permanent fix for the issue and will provide updates when available.
