GTA 6 fans take on Rockstar in the wake of Rockstar’s the latest news
In a “surprising” turn of events that apparently no one anticipated, Rockstar Games didn’t announce the GTA 6 trailer, as reports implied. It’s easy to pretend surprised, but really, we knew that the trailer wasn’t coming out. And, in fact, I’m wondering what the chances are that it’ll ever drop.
However, the fact that Rockstar has been making fun of everyone at the moment however, it hasn’t stopped people from taking to the streets and blaming developers for their deceit. It’s possible that the fans including me, and I, are guilty of this however, when it’s possible to criticize and become angry with someone else, it’s generally the best way to take it.
If you didn’t catch the mess that was yesterday’s Rockstar announcement the only thing we received instead of a GTA 6 trailer was the Red Dead Redemption Online Outfit. Yay. Really, though, it’s not that the dress doesn’t seem cool, it’s not the most exciting news to hear that all of the community seems to be launching itself into space every time a game does not receive an official announcement.
The myriad of memes that have flooded social media beautifully convey the anger that players are feeling. Many chose to be simple in their displeasure, saying “You posting about the wrong game lil bro”, but others went for a more stern approach, saying, “I might get old, have three kids, split up with my wife, and Grand Theft Auto 6 still won’t be announced.” In light of the fact that a delay appears probable in the near future, more than ever before, the thought that we could be in the final stages of death when GTA 6 is released feels more like an absurdity every single day.
The back to rumours are the only thing we have to do, from being concerned over “disgusting” price leaks and the claims that the game’s graphics will be ” lightyears ahead” over the RDR 2. It’s hard not to wonder what this repetitive dancing and song will cause people to lose interest in the game by the time it’s released as it’s been wildly hyped up, and as we’ve seen in Starfield it’s not always the only option to go down. However, we’ll continue to play but only because there’s only one option.
