The PS Plus Essential tier typically includes PS5 and PS4 games, while PS Plus Extra and Premium include PS5 titles all the way down to PS1 oldies. Each month, PS Plus customers are given access to a number of “free” games that they can subsequently add to their libraries. Now that the PS Plus lineup for December 2024 is coming to an end, a new year and January 2025 will bring new games for customers to enjoy.

Subscribers will have to wait until January 1, 2025, for the introduction of PS Plus’ Essential tier games, and then until January 7, 2025, to be able to access them for January 2025’s offers. Subscribers will have to wait until January 15, 2025, for PS Plus Extra and Premium in January 2025.
