Bandai Namco Games created and released the fighting game Tekken 6 in 2007. In the Tekken series, it is the seventh overall and sixth main installment. As the first game to operate on the System 357 arcade board, which was based on the PlayStation 3, it was made available in arcades in November 2007.
The game was updated a year later with the subtitle Bloodline Rebellion, and both versions were released in North America in limited quantities.
