“Fallout”: New Vegas dev confirms the old ideas to create Elder Scrolls spinoffs
Through the years, Bethesda has become one of the top video game creators that we have ever seen, offering us one of the best-loved RPGs that ever existed.
It’s The Elder Scrolls, Fallout or the most recently released Starfield, Bethesda RPGs will keep our attention for many the next few years. Although Starfield isn’t finished, it has a long distance to travel before getting near the legendary status that include Oblivion, Skyrim and Fallout 3.
One of the most adored Bethesda RPGs has to be Fallout: New Vegas developed by Obsidian Entertainment. The game was released in the year 2010 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Fallout: New Vegas was received a soaring critical reception by both fans and reviewers alike. It also scored high scores during the 1980s on websites like Metacritic. There was also a lot of great DLC to accompany the then-latest game of Bethesda.
The phenomenal success in the game The success of Fallout New Vegas is amazing in light of the fact the fact that it was initially planned to expand Fallout 3.. Through the years it has been reported about the possibility of a Fallout New Vegas 2. and that the creators of Obsidian Entertainment would love to see. However, there is any indication that this will occur, but we know for certain that there will be a fallout 5, sometime in the future.
In the end, however, inspired by great success in the game Fallout New Vegas, Chris Avellone, a former writer for Obsidian Entertainment revealed that the company had once suggested to Bethesda to release an additional spinoff of The Elder Scrolls series.
In response to a tweet about speculation regarding the rumored The Elder Scrolls spinoffs, Avellone claimed “This is the truth. The one of the Elder Scrolls proposals (which I suggested) was designed to fulfill similar purposes to what Fallout3: New Vegas did between Fallout 3 and Fallout 4. and to give players further adventures within the universe prior to the upcoming Bethesda launch.”
