Exclusive: The Parallel TCG Tournament will feature a $25,000 fight together with Hearthstone professionals
Digital trading cards game that is free to play Parallel TCG is hosting its premier major tournament that has prizes of up to $25,000.
Created in collaboration with Parallel Studios, Parallel is an exciting digital TCG game which is set a decade in the near future. Like games such as Magic: The Gathering, Runeterra and Hearthstone the players construct 40-card decks that they can use to take on rivals and win.
The company is yet to announce its release date, Parallel is set to begin its inaugural major tournament on the 8th December 2023 at 2PM Eastern Time. The tournament will run until December 9. the event will have an award of $25,000, which will be split between eight participants.
The Parallel TCG event will take place in an Swiss Style format, the exact format that is used for tournaments in games like MTG. It means that participants do not lose their place, and will continue to compete for places. So, every participant, including the one you like is guaranteed to play the exact number of rounds. This is the same for everyone else.
First place winners wins the biggest prize of $10,000, followed by a second prize of $6,250 3750, and fourth place at $2500. Four players in the remaining positions get $675.
The tournament is hosted by the legendary players Alliestrasza and Deathsie The Parallel TCG tournament is several renowned pro players who are competing for the biggest prize.
In the mix are the 2022 Hearthstone the world’s champion Raphael Peltzer, aka Bunnyhoppor. Hearthstone professional and well-known Twitch streamer TrumpSC and TrumpSC, Hearthstone star of the year Thijs, Team Liquid Hearthstone professional Slysssa as well as former developer of Hearthstone and streamer on Twitch TeraJN have all been competing.
This Parallel TCG 2023 event can be watched on multiple Twitch channels. In the beginning spectators are able to stream the action on these Twitch streamers’ private channels. The finals, however, that will take place on the 9th of December 2023 can be watched through Official Parallel TCG Twitch channel here.
The first major event to be played in digital format, Parallel is going hard to launch its first esports event. Although the game is yet to be released, Parallel TCG can be listed via Steam right now.
