If we were to say it was Starfield an extremely desired game is an understatement. According to Bethesda the game was more than 20 years in the making before it finally became a reality due to the advancements in gaming technology.

Was Starfield the perfect match? No. Did it get hyped? Perhaps. But, it’s enjoyable and the players could easily spend many hours playing the game. Simply put, if you enjoy the concept of the idea of Elder Scrolls and Fallout on the other side of space, Starfield could certainly be the game for you.

In our article on the game, we wrote: ” Starfield is definitely a major game, but not only due to the fact that it’s Bethesda’s first brand new IP in the last 25 years. Every once in a while an exciting game is released that alters our expectations of what this game industry has to offer. Starfield can be such a game. It’s a far cry from what we’ve come to understand the term “open-world” to mean.”

Like any great RPG players’ immersion is the most important factor.

This being said, Starfield could certainly improve and we were thinking. A player is able to dramatically improve the gameplay by making changes to an easy setting. “Got bored. Turned off HUD. It felt like playing a completely different game,” announced Redditor No-Patience8984. “I wish there was an option to do it on the fly like in Red Dead Redemption 2,” they added.

“All modern RPGs need a HUD that mostly if not entirely fades away after a minute or so of non-combat,” responded Zpaine. “I would prefer a toggle, I might not always want it in combat either but in a game like this I wouldn’t mind if it was a helmet modification,” suggested Full Bat 8866. “I have always said that ever since Starfield came in”! The game will benefit immensely from an interactive HUD. that much” said WAHSnoodle.

Personally, I’d prefer to use my HUD when playing games like Starfield. It’s an action-packed sci-fi title, therefore it’s sensible to have radar available. For games like Red Dead Redemption 2 with no HUD would be logical, since when it was a time of change, there wasn’t such thing as a radar. All you needed was the Compass. It’s been a while since I played Red Dead Redemption 2 without a HUD which I highly recommend the game.

Starfield is out now on PC and Xbox Series X|S. Additionally, it’s accessible to Xbox Game Pass subscribers at the cost of nothing.
