Diablo 4 is finally coming to Steam
I constantly forget how many incredible games have been in the last year. We are spoilt for choice by 2023. With the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, Alan Wake 2 Persona 5 Tactica, Avatar sequel Frontiers of Pandora in the pipeline, and more, the excitement will likely stop anytime soon.
If you think back to June, you had the pleasure of playing Diablo IV. It made more revenue to Activision Blizzard in one week than Diablo Immortal achieved in the entire year. The game hit the aptly named number of sales of 666 million dollars in only five days. Lilith is happy. The game is Blizzard’s most-seller game so far, with a hosmanyests for updates implemented in the past few months after its release. There’s no reason to be surprised. Diablo Vis has already been teased, and a few months ahead, Diablo IV is set to launch on Steam.
That’s right. All of those who’ve been waiting around for Diablo IV to appear on Steam won’t need to wait for long. The well-known RPG is set to hit Steam on the Steam storefront on October 17. It’s good news: Diablo IV has crossplay support, which means you can team with friends from Xbox, PlayStation, and Battle.net. The game’s launch on Steam will coincide with the start of the brand new Season of Blood. Spooky.
Season of Blood is Diablo IV’s second season. The initial season ended severely after the developers nerfed several classes. After the outcry by fans, a subsequent patch reverted the choice of Blood will play host to 90 different tiers, including 27 free and the remaining 63 premium options. The obvious thing to note is that you’ll have to buy the battle pass to access these premium Tiers.
The new season’s questline introduces you to the ‘deadly blood-driven foe. If you’ve already completed the initial campaign, you’ll have the option to skip to the Missing Pieces quest from the introduction, allowing you to begin the brand new Season of Blood content immediately. What’s more, you could want?
