Hogwarts Legacy has been rated as one of the top video games released this year. This is also one of the most commercially successful video games. It has not only outperformed Elden Ring’s lifetime sales in five weeks but also made as much money as many Harry Potter films.
Set in the late 1800s – long before Harry Potter or even Fantastic Beasts – Hogwarts Legacy not only offers a stand-alone story but also a prequel for the original books and movies.
Hogwarts Heritage is set decades before Voldemort was even born. It’s not surprising that Avalanche Software did not include “he who cannot be named” in their action RPG. At least, officially.
