The Midnight Club remake trailer brings back a classic
Rockstar Games used to release video games without GTA 5 in the title.
Anyone of a certain generation will remember a time when Rockstar released banger after hit. Bully! Manhunt! The Warriors The Warriors! All Legendary Games!
The last title in the Midnight Club series, Midnight Club Los Angeles Complete Edition, was released in 2009. Rockstar’s silence on the Midnight Club franchise over the past decade would lead us to believe that the series is dead.
The games can’t be played on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5. Backward compatibility allows you to play the games on Xbox Series or Xbox One.
TeaserPlay has (kind of) answered the prayers of those who have been waiting for a new Midnight Club game. They created a “remake” of the series with Unreal Engine 5 and the use of high-end graphics such as Nanite, Screen Space Raytracing, Global Illumination Shader, etc.
TeaserPlay wrote: “We really hope this video can clear up the expectations that fans have for Rockstar Games.”
Anyone who has been following Rockstar over the past few years knows that they are currently focused on delivering ‘GTA 6. Recent reports indicate that we could see the much-anticipated sequel next year.
