Dragon’s Dogma 2 is stunning in this new gameplay trailer
Capcom has revealed the first gameplay footage for Dragon’s Dogma II at the PlayStation Showcase.
Dragon’s Dogma HTML0 was originally released on PC, PS3 & Xbox 360 in 2012. It has since been ported to PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Although the original was not perfect, the game’s potential was evident. Hopefully, the sequel lives up to expectations.
Capcom first teased Dragon’s Dogma II in May 2021. It’s taken a while, but we’ve now been treated with some gameplay. This sequel is powered by RE Engine which was used in Resident Evil 2 remake and Resident Evil Village.
Dragon’s Dogma II promises not only improved graphics and performance over its predecessor but also an enhanced AI that results in a “truly immersive fantasy universe”.
It was filled with mythical beasts such as Medusa and Griffin. Visually, the game looked stunning with an open world that was breathtaking. Unfortunately, the game will not feature co-op. It will be another single-player action RPG, with Pawns as a co-op.
In a post on the Dragon’s Dogma II site, it is stated that: “players can enjoy free adventures within the royal road fantasy world. The game offers a variety of activities that will meet your imagination, as well as allowing you to enjoy “the fun of adventuring together with another player” even if you are playing alone. This is an action game with a lot of play value.
Capcom had not yet announced a release date at the time this article was written. However, hopefully, we will get the date soon.
