The next chapter of DEAD BY THE DAYLIGHT is going to be a sci-fi thriller
The game’s new chapter was revealed at the 7th-anniversary event of Behaviour Interactive for Dead By Daylight, along with a brand-new original killer and survivor. The game is boldly opting for a sci-fi flavor this time.
The action in End Transmission moves from Earth to the stars and brings with it a cyborg assassin. The Singularity, a rogue artificial intelligence that created a flesh-and-machine body to go on killing sprees and be the perfect lifeform. The Singularity manages to kill an entire crew, except for a plucky technologist. Gabriel Soma is the new survivor.
This chapter comes with an entirely new map, Toba landing. It is also set in a mysterious world. It’s not clear how those pallets ended up there.
End Transmission will be released on June 13, across all platforms. The fact that an original story has ventured beyond its usual haunts to explore the larger universe is refreshing. This is hopefully a preview of the horror movie that Behaviour will release in the future.
