Days Gone Studio officially teases new title
Bend Studio has officially announced its next unannounced project.
Day Gone was a limited-release zombie survival video game for PlayStation 4 that saw a mixed reception. received mixed reviews. However, was a big hit with players. The sequel, which was supposed to be in development, was canceled because of the poor reception the game received and the lack of confidence in its success.
Bend Studio then moved on to other projects. None of these ever saw light, but it is believed that the studio worked with for the development of another installment in the uncharted franchise. The studio has not been mentioned since then. It is also unknown if they are working on any new IPs.
The studio announced something new on its website, as it recently celebrated its 30th anniversary and hinted at more projects.
The studio announced on its Twitter page: “This is our 30th anniversary at Bend Studio!”
Our studio, founded in 1993 continues to grow and evolve with a passion for innovation. We thank you for supporting our games over the past 30 years, from Syphon Filter to Days Gone. “We can’t tell you what comes next!”
Currently, it’s unknown which titles Bend Studio is working on. We’ll be sure to find out very soon. There’s also a possibility that some sort of teaser or announcement will be made at the PlayStation Showcase on May 24th. It’s likely the announcement won’t have anything to do with Day Gone 2. This may be disappointing to some fans.
