The new Mortal Kombat 1 trailer is disgustingly bloody
The cryptic hints have been teased for days, and now we finally know. NetherRealm Studios has revealed the next Mortal Kombat installment, but it is not Mortal Kombat 12. like most fans thought. The next installment is called Mortal Kombat 1.
fan theories started going crazy earlier this week when a trailer showing a countdown clock was uploaded online. Since the previous entry was Mortal Kombat 11, we expected that the hands of the clock would stop at 12. They skipped to the next number, which led many people to believe that there would be a reboot of the franchise. Many theories were floated, one of which was that the leap could have been linked to Kronika’s time-altering hourglass. Now that we’ve seen the first Mortal Kombat 1, trailer, we’re much more aware of what is going on. And the reboot theory was not too off.
Mortal Kombat 1, which is set to be released on September 19, will mark a new beginning for the series. The game, which will have Shang Tsung, as its playable character features a “reborn Mortal Kombat Universe, created by Fire God Liu Kang”, ushering in a “new era of Mortal Kombat with new fighting systems, game modes, and deaths.”
Mortal Kombat 1, looks really gruesome. Mortal Kombat as we have never seen before. The game was made using an entirely different engine. NetherRealm Studios has switched to Unreal Engine 5 to create the game. The slick visuals in the trailer show what a huge upgrade this is for the series.
Mortal Kombat 1, continues the trend that new-gen games are only available. The game will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, as well as Nintendo Switch. This confirms that the game will not be released on Xbox One or PlayStation 4.
