The co-creator of DOOM will headline the ‘Toxic and Proud Sci-Fi Convention’ for those who are ‘tired’ of woke propaganda
DOOMcocreator will be headlining the ‘Toxic & Proud Sci-Fi Convention’ for those who are “tired of woke propagandists”.
John Carmack, the co-founder and former CTO for OculusVR as well as Id Software is so fed up with the Woke Left’s propaganda that he has decided to host a convention featuring special guests.
PCGamer reported that Carmack would be attending BasedCon in Michigan, the state of the United States of America.
In a post on his own account, Carmack said: “I will be attending BasedCon this year again.” Three of these authors I’d read and interacted on Twitter with (and more since!) Last year, I didn’t know what to expect. “It was fun in an old-school, grass-roots way. It reminded me of Space Access.”
BasedCon may not be your typical event compared with ComicCon. The convention’s site states the event is not about “pushing any particular ideology”. The event also states that it is a celebration of all things Sci-Fi, Books, Games, Movies, and TV.
It then goes on to give several examples that cater to the audience.
- The men cannot have children
- People kill each other, not guns
- The fetus can be compared to a human.
- The socialist movement has been a failure everywhere that it has been attempted
- Racism is discrimination against people of color
The website, which claims to be welcoming of all kinds of people, also includes this strange warning for anyone who may not agree with the host, guest or visitor’s beliefs.
If you believe that people of a particular skin color can never be racist, or if you assume people will use invented pronouns to refer to you, it’s best to check your reality before attending BasedCon.
