PlayStation users are in luck: one of gaming’s iconic trilogies can now be theirs for free!
Yesterday, PlayStation Plus unveiled an expansive update for extra and premium tier subscribers – more than making up for this month’s essential tier shortcomings! In total 23 new titles were revealed as part of this massive roster update!
If you haven’t checked out this month’s essential PlayStation Plus lineup yet, subscribers can currently find themselves playing GRID Legends, Descenders, and Chivalry II – not exactly an attractive collection – though many initially branded these three titles ‘trash.’ That said, some have noted how Chivalry II actually provides fun gameplay after some initial dissatisfaction; I can vouch for that myself! Upon moving back up into extra and premium tier drops, however; in particular with regards to one of gaming’s premier franchises: Tomb Raider.
Shadow often gets an unfair reputation, but I love this trilogy installment. With sprawling hubs to discover and an epic final sequence filled with enemies who scared the living daylights out of me – what more could anyone need? Though, to be perfectly honest I still may never brave Yaaxil again in another playthrough due to hearing his echoing screams and screeches in those caves and feeling my hands go cold at their sight… I just shuddered as soon as they appeared!
