About Diablo 2 – Lord of Destruction
Diablo II: Lord of Destruction expansion pack is for the hack-and-slash action role-playing game Diablo II.
After the player has successfully escaped into Hell and defeated Diablo in Act IV they return to the Pandemonium Fortress where the Archangel Tyrael summons them with an urgent summons.
Travel opens the portal to Harrogath. This is a stronghold located on Mount Arreat, in the northern Barbarian Highlands.
Act IV ends with Mephisto and Diablo, the Prime Evils from Hell, being killed and their Soulstones destroyed by the Hellforge.
Their surviving brother Baal, who impersonates Tyrael, retrieves his Soulstone from Marius, the narrator.
Baal organized an army and attacked Mount Arreat. The Worldstone is being protected by the Barbarians.
