Age of Empires II – The Forgotten is the second expansion to the 1999 real-time strategy game Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings.
It was released almost 13 years after The Conquerors. The Forgotten introduces new game-play features and tweaks, as well as previously undiscovered bug fixes.
This includes the new game modes Capture the Relic and Treaty. There are additional maps, with a four-fold larger maximum map size than the one before.
There are over 30 new technologies included and 9 new units. You can share your custom creations directly with the Steam Workshop.
Artificial Intelligence has been enhanced and modeled after competitive players.
