The first-person platform action-adventure video game published by Electronic Arts, Mirror’s Edge, was developed by EA DICE. Mirror’s Edge lets you control Faith, the protagonist. She must navigate a city full of buildings and rooftops by running, jumping, and crawling across walls.
Parkour-inspired techniques and movements are used to accomplish this feat. Owen O’Brien, the senior producer of Mirror’s Edge, stated that Mirror’s Edge is designed to “convey strain” and make physical contact with the environment. The goal is to allow freedom of movement not possible in the first-person genre.
