Myst IV Revelation is an adventure videogame. It is the fourth installment of the Myst series. The player views the game through the eyes and perspective of a mysterious protagonist, the Stranger. The mouse or keyboard is used to navigate interactive worlds called Ages. Players solve puzzles and discover the story. Players can’t freely move across any Age.
Instead, they must click “nodes” to navigate. This allows them to cross explored areas by skipping intermediate nodes quickly. Areas that can be traveled instantly are saved as thumbnail representations so players can swiftly travel across Ages.
