Harvestella Release Date and Details
Square Enix has many games coming out in the next few years. Forspoken, Final Fantasy XVI and Final Fantasy Rebirth are just a few of the big hitters. They have now announced a new game that blends fantasy and life simulation in Harvestella. We now have all details about the game, including the release date and the platforms it will be available on.
What is Harvestella?
Harvestella combines the Square Enix JRPG Battle gameplay with Stardew Valley-esque gameplay. You grow crops, interact and make new friends while you do this.
“Square Enix introduces Harvestella, a new lifestyle simulation RPG. Square Enix presents a new fantasy x life simulation RPG! Explore an imaginative world through the seasons, tend your crops and make new friends. You can also face enemies in dynamic combat to unravel the mystery of Quietus
The game looks exactly like a Square Enix JRPG. It has combat gameplay that is similar to other titles. However, this is the company’s first venture into the life-simulator category. These are the elements of your world that you will be exploring:
- Nemea Town is a place where cherry trees are in full bloom all year.
- ‘ Shatolla is a seaside resort home to a bustling Tavern.
- “Lethe Village, awash in vibrant colours from the first seasons.”
- “The Holy Capital of Arsene, covered in snow.”
These locations will be used with your map to reach the four Seaslights. They are giant crystals that help to regulate the seasons. Along the way, you will meet Shikra, Heine, Asyl, and Aria. The combat system will also play a role in helping you to understand their needs and wants. The combat system allows you to switch between the Fighter, Shadow Walker, and Mage jobs, which will allow you to maximize your party’s potential and determine their strengths and weaknesses.
We don’t know much about the game beyond what was mentioned. This is understandable, considering that it was just revealed yesterday. The game is due to release relatively soon, so we can expect lots of new information over the next few months about how it functions and the systems within it. It will be available on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam. There is no indication that the game will be coming to other consoles yet, but we’ll keep you updated as soon as we have more information.
