Games like Dead Rising are worth checking out.
Zombies can be fun. Zombies are fun; even if they don’t eat your legs or make a mess of your carpet with their incessant drooling, splattering, and destruction, they can be a lot of fun.
Frank, a journalist, is a cold-hearted maniac. He dispatches the undead with blood-lusting intention while taking candid shots.
It’s a visceral experience that is hard to resist. These are the ten games you should play while you wait for Frank and his team to finish their game.
State of Decay 2 doesn’t function as a survival video game. State of Decay 2 combines scavenging and bartering with settlement-builder elements. It’s a grounded affair that lets you experience what it would feel like if everything went belly-up.
Although it may sound like a good time trading with NPCs or rationing resources, there is more to the apocalypse than just shooting zombies in their faces all day. Although it doesn’t have the same heaving swarms as games like World War Z or Dead Rising, it does an admirable job of immersing players in rural societies struggling after the inevitable.
The results speak for themselves. Although State of Decay 2 has not won over all the hard-nosed critics, it has done an amazing job of getting the public to agree. It was announced that the survival sim had passed the 10,000,000 player mark in August 2021. This may be due to Undead Labs’ commitment to continuous updates, patches, and improvements over the past four years.
A third game is currently being developed. Now is a great time to check out all the hype.
It seemed for a brief moment that the Dead Island games would be the next big thing in the emerging zombie genre. Deep Silver publishers sought to capitalize on the rising popularity of the undead by teasing Dead Island. This tropical-themed romp briefly shocked the internet with its highly successful reverse chronological trailer.
Unfortunately, it was one of those rare instances when the trailer was better than the game. The acclaimed teaser proved so popular that it got its own Wikipedia entry and many hilarious parodies. Although Dead Island is not bad, it didn’t live up to the massive hype generated by the infanticidal trailer.
All eyes are now on the sequel, which, if current form is any indication, will drop in late 2034.
Dead Rising doesn’t have to be about zombies. However, if Nintendo decides to make a Link vs. We are excited to release The Undead as a standalone title.
ReDeads (also known as Lurkers) is part of the Zelda franchise, but they’re not the main attraction or the link that ties Majora’s Mask to Dead Rising. The thing that connects them is that they are both timed games. This means that you must complete certain objectives before the clock runs out, and you have to start again.
Majora’s Mask has a three-day time limit (just under an hour of actual time). This limitsLink’ss progress and wipes him out if he does not return to 6:00 AM on the first day of playing the Song of Time. Dead Rising is a game where the clock ticks down throughout the game, setting a time limit on how long you can finish it. Majora’s Mask is one of the most overlooked Zelda games, and it has more to offer than just novelty value.
