MOUNT AND BLADE 2 BANNERLORD ENABLES DEATH – WHAT DOES HE DO?
Mount or Blade 2: Bannerlord allows you to modify individual aspects of your campaign. One of the vaguer options is to enable death. What does it do?
This is everything you need to know regarding Mount, Blade 2: Bannerlord’s enable Death option and how it affects your playthrough.
Mount and Blade 2: Bannerlord Enables Death
Hovering above Mount and Blade 2 – Bannerlord’s allow death option shows the text.
This means that your companions won’t be able to travel with you after you have received a fatal blow in battle.
This option makes the Calradia faction’s player character and the NPCs named to Calradia’s various factions vulnerable to being kicked the bucket after being beaten to a pulp on a battlefield.
Bandits may be more likely to capture you early on and keep you alive until you are sold into slavery, but Bannerlord can become quite brutal later.
If you have an heir, it will ensure that your campaign doesn’t end in death. In this case, you can resume playing as them.
It is worth noting. However, that death in old age can happen regardless of whether or not you have allowed it to happen.
