Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic: Remake Release Date, Leaks and Everything We Know
RPG and Star Wars fans rejoice! A new Knights of the Old Republic remake has been announced. Although the long-dormant series hasn’t been seen in action since 2004, the remake was revealed during PlayStation’s the September State of Play. We have everything we know so far about the next instalment.
What is Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and What Are They?
Bioware developed the original Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic RPG for the Xbox.
Many of the Mass Effect team members created the game. It was played 4,000 years before the Empire was formed and focused on Darth Malak, a Sith.
Obsidian Entertainment released the sequel, imaginatively titled Knights of the Old Republic 2 just one year after the original game.
Reports claim that the remake will abandon the combat system from the original to favour a more active approach.
Knights of the Old Republic Release Date
Padawan, Woah! It is possible that the game will be delayed.
Although it was announced, there are no details about the release window.
It all depends on how far Aspyr Media is in developing the remake. We are predicting that the game will not be available until 2023, but it is possible that it may arrive in Q1, Q2, or Q3, depending on how far along Aspyr Media is with its development.
Knights of the Old Republic Platforms
The game was previously Xbox Exclusive, but it is now coming to PlayStation and PC first as a timed exclusivity. The remake will be available on Xbox platforms twelve months after its initial launch, as we imagine.
