Nintendo Switch Release Announces Alan Wake Remastered
Officially, Alan Wake Remastered will be available for Nintendo Switch later in the year. Remedy has now fixed the Nintendo Switch’s absence from the console list. The game was first released in October 2013.

Remedy Entertainment released the following statement about the game in a press release before promising that it would announce a release date within the next few months.
This game was launched as a digital Nintendo Switch exclusive release and runs natively on the hardware.
Remedy spoke for thirteen minutes long on YouTube about the upcoming sequel of the cult horror game. He stated that while development is progressing well, and the game will still be released next year, the team won’t show any new footage over the summer. Remedy did show some concept art for the game. Sam Lake, the creative director for the game, stated that:
“To make a polished trailer or demo takes a lot of work, and it could take several months to complete, which could impact development. We are confident that we are on the right track and want to create the best survival horror game possible for Remedy em>.
This Summer, there is no Alan Wake 2 gameplay
Remedy had hoped to showcase more of the game during the summer, but they have made the difficult decision of moving it so that fans can see the best of what the next-generation consoles can offer the author and tortured soul that is Alan Wake.
Alan Wake’s anniversary update video revealed that AMC had purchased the rights to an Alan Wake TV series that was originally announced in 2018. AMC is perhaps most well-known for adapting and then farming The Walking Dead’s license. With that show coming to an end later in the year, AMC will likely be looking for new premium content.
