VIDEO STEELRISING GAMES – STEELRISING VIDEO – EQUIPMENT, AUTOMATON ENEMIES AND ITS RAVAGED PARIS VERSION
Today, developer Spiders and publisher Nacon unveiled a 5-minute gameplay video for the upcoming action-RPG steel rising. This video showed off more of its equipment and enemy types and ravaged Paris.
The game takes place in 1789 and explores an alternate version of the French Revolution, in which King Louis XVI uses an armoury of automatons as a means to subdue the rebellion. The players take on the role of Aegis, Queen Marie Antoinette’s bodyguard, and travel throughout Paris to battle other automatons.
Steelrising’s latest gameplay video begins in Vaucanson’s workshop. Aegis fights against opponents inside and outside the wooden structure.
The protagonist can use various weapons, including a pair of sharp-armoured fans that double as a shield or a long spear. All of these items are shown as extensions of the automaton’s body. This visual detail makes it easy to overlook the rough footage.
Aegis can use a carriage to travel to other parts of Paris more severely affected by the ongoing conflict.
You can use the handy dash or grappling hook to aid you in traversing, and different outfits offer various stat bonuses.
Steelrising’s gameplay video features a fight against The Bishop Of the Cite, a larger foe with a more complex moveset.
It does have a touch of soul to it. We’ll watch how the developer continues the fun but flawed Greedfall.
Steelrising will be released on September 8, when it arrives on PCs, Xbox Series X/S and PS5.
