Lie Detector Exposed During Warzone Cheating Investigation
Warzone Cheating is not a new phenomenon. However, in recent months the competitive scene tried to determine if a player participating in high-stakes tournaments uses tricks to gain an unfair advantage.
Shifty, a player who competed in tournaments with thousands of players on the line, was accused of cheating and received an opportunity to prove his innocence.
An independent group continued to inspect Shifty’s gameplay and quickly realized that the person conducting the lie detector test was not as legitimate as they claimed.
Shifty Warzone Lie Detector
Shifty demonstrated his skills with a new PC in a broadcast that Full Squad Gaming and NRG Esports broadcasted on April 5. After several hours of play and the appearances of other Warzone players, no evidence was found to prove that the player was cheating.
The stream was interrupted by viewers who quickly accused John Grogan, the lie detector operator, of being a fraud. Jake Lucky, co-owner of Full Squad Gaming, explained the absence of lie detector results.
Shifty Cheating or a Lie?
It’s unclear whether Shifty used any cheats during Warzone matches despite the best efforts. The Shifty saga isn’t slowing down as the community continues to seek proof.
