MLB The Show 22 – Unlock time & Early Access
Can you see that fence in the distance? It’s time to throw that ball over and run around a diamond to the cheers of strangers. MLB The Show 22 will be launching in the second quarter of 2022. This might seem a little confusing in an age where FIFAs and Maddens reveal their 22 iterations well before the previous year.
MLB The Show 22 release date
You can still get the standard version of the game, including the Xbox Game Pass version and other Switch offerings. However, you’ll need to wait a few days until April 5. The unlock time for PlayStation is at midnight ET/ However, we will assume that other console versions will follow suit, though this is still unconfirmed.
MLB The Show 22 Early Access
If you’ve saved some hard cash and purchased the Digital Deluxe Edition, you can start playing today – April 1. You can also get this early access if you purchased the MVP version on the Xbox or PlayStation. The MVP is not available for the Nintendo Switch.
Is MLB The Show able to have crossplay?
Yes, it does. You can play the 22 version with your Switch, then go back to your home and load the PlayStation version. This would require you to buy two copies of the game, which is likely ridiculous. However, each one can be yours.
