Bunny on Bunny Day. You can’t miss the blossom season if your island is located in the north. A special April day celebrates our planet. A new month brings new fish, bugs, and other sea creatures to your attention, Animal Crossing. You might also see some animals leave your island at the end. Many things are happening in April. Let’s see what.
EVENTS
It’s either spring or autumn, depending on where you are located. April is full of activities, no matter which hemisphere, beginning on the first day.
APRIL FOOL’S DAY
April begins in New Horizons and includes a day of pranksters, April Fool’s Day. This day isn’t like previous Animal Crossing games. New Horizons does not entirely ignore April Fool’s Day. For only 400 Bells, you can purchase a Whoopee Cushion at Nook Shopping. You can get one as soon as March 26th and until April 1st. Have fun pranking your friends!
FISHING TOURNAMENT
It feels like it has been a long since the last Fishing Tournament at New Horizons. It’s that time again. This event will take place on your island, no matter where you are located in the south or north. C.J. is your guide. So you can catch fish and break records while selling your catches to good Bells.
CHERRY BLOSSOM SUMMER
This is a highlight of any Animal Crossing Game, including New Horizons. You’ll see your trees covered in beautiful pink blossoms on April 1st if your island is located in the north. This lasts until April 10th. If you are a New Horizons member, this is something you should not miss. This only happens once a year for ten days, so take advantage of it!
Southern hemisphere residents will be able to enjoy the Cherry Blossom season from October 1st through October 10th.
The blooms are more than a beautiful sight. You may see pink blossom petals floating in the air during this season, much like snowflakes in winter. These petals can be caught with a net and used in DIY crafting recipes. These seasonal recipes can be found in the New Horizons’ usual way by popping balloons. These unlockable objects feature cherry blossoms designed to create a tranquil cherry-blossom sanctuary.
SINGMOGIL
What is Singmogil? It’s a Korean holiday that celebrates trees. It is also known as Tree Day. You can still enjoy the celebrations, even though no significant event is held for this holiday. You can find a Forsythia in Nook Shopping. This is a traditional Singmogil flower. It symbolizes spring’s arrival when it blooms. April should be Cherry Blossom Season. The Blossom season is when you can buy Forsythia.
NATURE DAY
This day, Earth Day, celebrates our planet and is held on April 22nd. This event is described in New Horizons. The game was released in March 2020. Since then, Nature Day has only been held twice, and each year is different. Leif, a shopper from the Netherlands, visited your island in 2020 to buy shrubs and flowers. There were also special Nook Miles+ activities that were inspired by nature.
It was also held from April 23rd to May 4th. It was slightly different in 2021. Along with the nature activities, Leif was removed from the day for some reason. It was replaced by a Nook Shopping seasonal exclusive: the Cool Globe. This item was available for purchase between the 15th & 22nd of April.
PROM ITEMS
April is prom season. New Horizons does not host prom dances, but that doesn’t mean you can’t throw a party. The Able Sisters’ and Nook Shopping’s wares allow you to throw your prom. Clothes are the main focus. There are many options for prom clothes. You can buy dresses, sashes and shoes and tuxedos and crowns. Prom-themed clothing can be purchased, as well as unique wallpaper and flooring for April.
BUNNY DAY
Bunny Day in Animal Crossing is an event that doesn’t have a set date. It depends on the year that this event occurs. It can be held in March or April. Bunny Day is the same day as Easter Sunday, but it lasts for a week before that. You can also find Bunny Day items around your island by popping balloons. This fun and spring-festive event will not be missed in New Horizons.
