“Ridiculously Well Made” Tekken Mod Adds ‘Elden Ring’ Characters
Elden Ring is everywhere. No matter where you are on the internet, FromSoftware’s newest (and perhaps most significant) title is likely to be there. It’s the game of the year, so it must be. I’m not talking to you, but the Breath of the Wild 2_ sequel has been delayed until next year.
There are a lot of Elden Ring mods. One that is particularly popular adds some meme-worthy characters such as Shrek to the game. He has to be the best replacement for the Tree Sentinel I didn’t know I needed. However, if you take all of the Elden Ring characters from the game, they have to go somewhere. One skilled modder has provided them with a new home in Tekken7.
VG247 reported that @uwais_alqarani, a Twitter user, shared a video showing their mod in all of its glory. The mod includes eight characters, including Melania, Ranni, Iron Fist Alexander, and Ranni. Although they all look amazing, the modder took the character model right from the game.
Many Twitter users have been praising @uwais_alqarani’s work. But Katsuhiro Harada, the director of a few Tekken games (including 7) and the general manager of Elden Ring, has received the highest praise. Shared the tweet of the modder and said, “it is ridiculously well-made.”
The mod is causing problems for the director as many people are contacting him to assume it’s official content. He wrote that “There [are] surprising many [people] who believe this is official […] [and] make various misunderstandings [and] call us.” “I don’t say anything for your enjoyment, but I want you to know there are people in [your] community that make noise based upon misunderstandings.
You can download the mod if you wish. For anyone unable to beat Melania in her real game, I can imagine it would be very therapeutic to win people to pieces like Melania.
