Devs of ‘Hogwarts’ Legacy Share Brilliant Gameplay Bug from State Of Play Trailer
These last few months have brought us all to a new level of emotion after almost two years without any information about the upcoming Harry Potter-themed video game, Hogwarts Legend.
In February, insiders claimed that a vast PlayStation state of play was coming in March and that the gameplay from the game set within the wizarding world would be displayed. But the showcase was a success without a Niffler. Sony then announced the second State Of Play. This one was focused on Hogwarts Legacy. The footage was a clear indication that the public got what they wanted. The original announcement trailer became the most-viewed video on PlayStation, proving that people are eager to grab it.
The State of Play footage shows around 15 minutes of gameplay and cinematics. Avalanche developer would have had plenty of B-roll, even content that was not shown. It’s true. The final State of Play cut gameplay featured character creation, exploration, and wand-waving war, but it wasn’t quite like what was shown recently on Twitter.
Many magical creatures in the wizarding world, including house-elves, goblins, centaurs, giants, and others. Each animal has its challenges. Each species or race requires a character model with its animations, hitboxes, collision detection, and collision detection. It’s not always easy to get all these things right. This is, of course, a representative of an in-development gameplay bug and not the final product.
Although this footage isn’t final gameplay, it suggests that Hogwarts legacy still has a lot of work ahead. We hope that everything is resolved in time for the release of Hogwarts Legacy in late 2022.
