Elden Ring has seen a lot of changes since the 1.03 patch. Before that, everyone would have been spamming Hoarfrost Stomp. However, a few weapons have made a comeback as the best weapons for your playthrough. Although there was a patch for the significant 1.03, it contained only a few bug fixes.
RIVERS OF BLOOD
Rivers of Blood, a katana, is currently the most popular and best-used weapon in this game. The 1.03 patch fixed a bug in arcane weapon scaling that caused the katana not to rise correctly. Now the gun is substantial both at close range and mid-range. The katana can scale mainly through arcane and dexterity, and it can inflict both slash or pierce attacks. It can withstand blood loss due to massive blood loss and Corpse Piler’s skill. This skill is potent and can cause significant blood loss. MAGMA BLADE

It is not dropable from a boss, unlike the most potent weapons in Elden Ring, and cannot be found at a loot location. You must defeat the Volcano Manor lizardmen to obtain Magma Blade. METEORITE STAFF
The Meteorite Staff, the only non-melee weapon on this list, is powerful early in the game and continues to scale well into the later game. S-rank scaling in Intelligence and high Sorcery Scaling means that the more advanced your intelligence skill, the more damage the staff will do. The Meteorite Staff has another caveat. It can’t be upgraded, so it doesn’t have to be upgraded. This means that the weapon is powerful and will only get stronger with the stat upgrades of the players.
The Meteorite Staff is not like other weapons that have weapon skills. It can only be infused with Ashes of War and has no talent. This staff’s main strength is its ability to increase the power of gravity sorceries by 30%. Gravity sorceries are Rock Sling and Meteorite.
