I had planned to write a sentimental “Happy Birthday Kingdom Hearts!” spill but Bandai came along and made the most important spin-off announcement of the series yet. A Kingdom Hearts Tamagotchi is on the way. It’s adorable and I’ve never been more excited about cleaning up my poop.

The series is very dear to me historically, but the third game was a disappointment. I have since left that bitterness behind. These feelings make it difficult for me to keep up with the universe. However, I know there will be some KHIV tie in here that will tell us about the one-time incident when someone forgot Kairi was fed.
