Street Fighter 5 “Definitive update”: Cel-Shaded Filter, Battle Balances and More
Capcom announced that Street Fighter 5 will receive a “definitive upgrade” later in the month for PS4/PC. This could be Street Fighter 5’s final major update after Street Fighter 6 was confirmed.
Although it doesn’t introduce any new characters or game modes, the update is packed full of features. Street Fighter 5’s roster is updated with new filters to make it stand out and tracksuit colours are available.

The cel-shaded filter is the most talked about feature in Street Fighter 5, out of all the features. Street Fighter 5 looks a lot more appealing than usual because of the cel-shading, which makes the characters and colours stand out better.
Street Fighter 5: Championship Edition is available for download on PC and PS4 on March 29. Street Fighter 5: Championship Edition contains the most current version of the game. Additional characters are available with the Season 5 Premium Pass.
