TOTAL WAR: WARHAMMER 3 MORTAL EMPIRES – HERE’S WHEN IT LAUNCHES
Total War concludes the grand strategy trilogy with a new set of factions and a large map to conquer in its single-player campaign. Although its map is larger than its predecessors, it will not be as large as its Mortal Empires game mode. This release date is in the minds of players who are already planning for future playthroughs.
Total War: Warhammer 3’s Mortal Empires campaign builds on its predecessor and offers players – some who refer to it under Immortal Empires- a combined map that spans territories from all three games. It pits a large number of factions against one another.

It will not have the same bells and whistles as the grand campaign, but it will be focused on eliminating your opponents. Many consider it the best way to play the series because of the variety of factions available.
We don’t know much about Total War: Warhammer III’s Mortal Empires release dates, other than the fact that it will be released at some point after launch.
It’s not clear if it will retain its old name or if the additions of daemon factions (or both) will cause it to change to Immortal Emperors. However, Creative Assembly did refer to it as such in a post about the game’s patch 1.
It will be available as a free DLC, just like the first version. However, there is one caveat.
You will need to have all three games from the series on one storefront to access it. This is according to Creative Assembly in a FAQ article.
This means that you won’t be able to access the map for Mortal Empires if you have the first two games on Steam and then purchase the third one on Epic Games Store.
After the game launched, Reddit user CathayZero found an initial list that could make the combined map.
This could give us an idea of what to expect when Mortal Empires goes online, but it’s important to remember that things can change as they develop.
Creative Assembly later confirmed that this list of regions was derived from “an extremely old prototype map.” “
We will likely share more details about Total War III’s Mortal Empires campaign in the coming months. This is when we will get official information on whether it will be called Immortal Empires. As soon as we receive new information, we will update this article.
