Insider says the ‘Dead Space” remake has been delayed

Anyone looking for a new and better sci-fi horror movie might find it disappointing to hear that the Dead Space remake is delayed. The first announcement was made in July of last year. The newly revamped survival horror may now be released in 2023 rather than this year.

VentureBeat journalist Jeff Grubb claimed yesterday (10 March) that, despite initially considering an October 2022 release date, publishers EA now aim for a 2023 release. Although we weren’t given an official release date, it is still disappointing for fans.

This news could be confirmed later in the evening. Motive Studios announced this week on Twitter that they will be hosting a Livestream for Dead Space developers later today at 6 pm UK time. They tweeted that they’d give us “an early look into the audio development,” so fans won’t mind tuning in regardless.

Although it will take a while, players will be pleased to learn that the remake will remove Dead Space 3 most controversial feature – the inclusion of microtransactions. Philippe Ducharme, the senior producer, said that the remake was being made from “mistakes” such as microtransactions. This is something that will be avoided in the remake’s announcement interview.

In the same interview, Roman Campos Oriola, the creative director, spoke about how the game will be exclusive to PC and new-generation consoles, allowing for a more immersive experience due to the reduced loading times. “We’re not going to reduce your experience. We’re not going to cut your camera. He said you could play it seamlessly from the beginning screen to the credits.

It looks promising from what we have seen. I think we can all agree that a delayed game is better than a rushed release in an unsatisfactory condition. The pushback is not yet confirmed, so we will have to wait and watch.
