FFXIV’s 2022 Moogle event is Your Last Chance To Run Praetorium & Castrum Meridian
The Final Fantasy XIV community is back for another Moogle Treasure Trove. This time, the community will continue to fight for the same tasks and win limited-time prizes. The previous event was held before the launch of Endeavor. It pushed players towards dungeons that were important for the upcoming expansion. This event seems to be a final hurrah for some content changing with Patch 6.1.
The new patch will add the Duty Support system to allow players to run A Realm Reborn Dungeons with AI companions. It’ll also change existing story duties such as Cape Westwind, Castrum Meridianum and The Praetorium. These two main Scenario Roulette tasks are notorious due to their lengthy nature and the speed at which veterans complete them. The planned rework will break these down into multiple tasks or change the player counts to bring them in line.
These duties are not available in their original form for long periods. To encourage others to participate, visit the Moogle Treasure Trove. You will be awarded Irregular Tomestones Of Scripture for completing specific dungeons and raids and PvP encounters tied to this event. Available party options will not earn you any Tomestones. These Tomestones may then be taken to an itinerant Moogle in Limsa Lominsa or Gridania.
There are many fantastic items that the Moogle can trade for, such as mount whistles, orchestrion roll, and housing items. The Euphonious Kamuy Fife, the Tamamo Headband and the Shiba-Inu-sporting Mameshiba Earring are essential items. This is the Kamuy mount you can get by completing Stormblood Extreme tests. It is also an alternative way to get it without risking your life and hoping that fate will smile upon you.
The Moogle Treasure Trove will be open from March 14th at 1 a.m. PT through Patch 6.1 (TBD) maintenance period. Below are all the details about what duties you will need to perform for Irregular Tomes of Scripture and where you can turn them in. The Blue Mage Rises
Blue Magie was the belle of the ball last year, when a fully-levelled, kitted Blue mage could speedrun specific encounters quicker than other jobs. This will be true for the current iteration. It looks like Aurum Vale is likely to be one of the fastest duties on the list. Blue Mages can use RRam’sVoice and Ulvibration for trash mobs and Missile for bosses.
IIt’sgoing to be fun grinding up until Patch 6.1. has a complete breakdown.
